Congratulations are in order! Your Chapter has been selected the Large Chapter of the Year for the Pacific Region. This is our 4th consecutive Year being selected however it doesn’t get any easier and is not something we take for granted.
Many thanks go out to Our Executive Officers as most of them are involved in nearly every activity whether it is in the planning and or participation. Thanks also to the Active Members that come out to the many events and activities we sponsor and or co-sponsor. The CFC ROK HQ Service Members deserve a lot of credit also for the support they give especially in the Good Neighbor Programs we host.
Last but certainly not least a thanks to our Sponsors as without their support via Funds and or Products we could not continue to put on and sponsor the Programs and Activities.
In July Tom Weiss and I will represent the Chapter in Las Vegas at the National Convention. During the Awards Banquet on 22 July the Outstanding Large Chapter of the Association will be named.
As you know we held our Chapter Elections on May 26th. I want to thank Adam Thompson for his of Service as our Vice Chairman and also Ingrid Foster for her Service as Secretary. Adam is still on the Team as a Trustee and Ingrid has moved on the Fort Hood Texas. Best wishes to her and family in their assignment and future.
I look forward to working with the New members of the Team; Tom Weiss, Vice Chairman, Brian Robinson, Secretary and Yvette Hernandez, Treasurer. None of these are totally new to the NCOA Team however are new in these positions. Rhonda Motley remains on as Membership Coordinator and I as your Chairman.

I am still looking for some ideas on what we need to do to get more of you involved in our Activities. There seems to be the nearly the same members always stepping forward to support. Tell me what we need to do to get more of you involved!
What is it that you like doing? We can probably put that talent to good use in the Chapter. As some of you may know fund raising had taken a down turn in the past few years. If you have some ideas in that area, let me know. How about recruiting New Members and or encouraging members to renew their membership, volunteering to help out at an activity or sharing information of what we are doing ...the list goes on.
